Summer Student Labourer
AgriLink Equipment has position open for a Summer Student Labourer at our Brownlee location. This role will provide general assistance at the dealership, including maintaining the dealership landscaping and light maintenance, cleaning and refurbishing new and used customer and dealer owned equipment, and assisting co-workers across all departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience for someone looking to move into a full time Agriculture Equipment Technician or Parts Technician position.
AgriLink Equipment is an evolving agriculture equipment dealer providing sales, service, and parts for Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Versatile, Morris, and MacDon product lines from two Saskatchewan locations-Brownlee and Moose Jaw.
Responsibilities Include
- Maintain landscaping on dealership properties and assist with organization of equipment
- Efficiently cleans and refurbishes new and used customer and dealer owned equipment. This includes the exterior and interior of the equipment.
- Maintains a clean work area and follows all safety practices of the organization when completing work assignments. Also helps to maintain company vehicles, inventory and tools in proper working condition.
- May assist in unloading deliveries and aid in picking and packing orders generated at the parts counter
- Support Service Technicians by keeping the shop clean and assisting in light repairs
- Transport parts between store locations as well as manufacturer pick-ups
- Other duties or projects as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications
- Self-starter who can work independently and efficiently
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, lifting to 50lbs unassisted, walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
